In 2009, she started her career in pageantry at the age of 16.
Kalil was in the first-ever Sports Illustrated Swim Search and was featured in the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
She entered beauty pageants before becoming a model. A teen, she was Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2010 and Miss Teen USA 2010.
As a college senior, Kalil competed in Miss Minnesota USA 2014 in Burnsville, Minnesota. She won, representing Minnesota in Miss USA 2014 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Kalil and Camille Kostek were named competition winners in March 2018. She debuted in the 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and appeared in 2020 and 2021.
Kalil finished in the top twenty at Miss USA; however, she was ultimately beaten out of first place by Nia Sanchez of Nevada.
In 2018, Kalil was signed to Wilhelmina Models New York, but in March 2023, she announced that she ultimately would no longer work with modeling agencies due to bad experiences.
In 2015, she got married to former NFL lineman Matt Kalil in a ceremony in Kauai, Hawaii. Finally, they got separated on May 4, 2022.
Kalil keeps updating her YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram and has over 3 million subscribers as of September 2023.
She graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science in medical biology, psychology, and chemistry.
