Where are ‘The Voice’ Winners Today? Dive into their Post-Victory Lives

We get increasingly excited for the big finish when we watch the 24th season, with the amazing Reba McEntire as the new coach. We also go on a nostalgic journey to revisit the most cherished seasons, learning about the goals of famous people like Tessanne Chin, Jordan Smith, and Brynn Cartelli, forever known as The Voice champions.

Javier Colon in Season 1 (2011)

Colon entertains live crowds with his band and posts covers of well-known songs on his social media account. Colon signed a record deal with Universal Music Group after winning The Voice and released his first album, “Come Through for You.” He later broke up with the label and moved to Concord Records, where he released “Gravity” in 2016. Colon wrote on his official website about the record, “I aspired to craft a work where my artistic identity could flourish without constraints. Musical autonomy was paramount, and I was enveloped by a supportive environment that encouraged my artistic liberation.”

After that, Colon didn’t release any new records, but in 2013, he started a weekly show called “Inside Voice with Javier Colon,” which he co-hosts with Jenn Bosworth. In 2022, he was also the judge for Connecticut’s “Let’s Hear It” singing challenge.

Jermaine Paul in Season 2 (2012)

The virtuoso, nominated for a Grammy, is currently CEO of CJAS Music and still performs live. Pope became the first woman to win The Voice, and her solo country album, “Frame by Frame,” went straight to the top of the Top Country Albums chart when it came out in 2013. After this, she released two more country music albums, “Stages” and “Thrive.” But in 2022, she returned to her pop-punk roots, saying, “This forthcoming project embodies an authenticity that has hitherto eluded me… Pop and rock music permeate my creative essence, and this homecoming resonates deeply.”

Danielle Bradbery in Season 4 (2013)

Bradbery’s “A Special Place Tour” in 2023 includes her new song “The Day That I’m Over You.” She also grows her fan base with a tour documentary series called “My Human Diary.”

When Bradbery was finished training with Shelton, she released her first album, “Danielle Bradbery,” in 2013. Her second album, “I Don’t Believe We’ve Met,” came out in 2017. As of 2018, she began reinterpreting well-known songs, like Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain,” giving her fans a symphony of familiar tunes. In 2019, “Charlie’s Angels” featured the masterpiece “Blackout” in its music.

She teased fans with the idea of a “new era” of musical expression in an honest interview with Hollywood Life in April 2023. She said, “My trajectory has been a series of transformations, commencing at the tender age of 16—an age of vulnerability. It’s an eternal process of self-discovery and artistic evolution. Tessanne Chin in Season 5 (2013)

Chin is in charge of the creative development program called “Voice Box,” which helps young artists between the ages of six and eighteen improve their skills. At the same time, she presents “Surreal,” a new piece of music that will be released in September 2023.

Jamaican superstar Shaggy provided the spark that propelled Chin to the hallowed halls of The Voice, where she was crowned as Team Adam’s victorious contestant in season five. Following his time on Team Usher, Kaufman went on a journey of live shows and tried his hand at acting. In 2013, he got the lead part in the Broadway revival of “Pippin,” in 2014, he was the star of “Home for the Holidays, Live on Broadway.” He also has four albums, including “Forgetting…To Remember…To Forget” and “NDOXO Vol. 1,” which came out in 2019.

Craig Wayne Boyd in Season 7 (2014)

Boyd first performed “Let it Ride (Let It Roll)” in November 2023. He is now on tour and has been wowing people in Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

Boyd made his Grand Ole Opry debut and quickly visited 65 towns after being named the winner in season seven. He started with an album called “Self-Titled” in 2008 and went on to release three more albums called “I Ain’t No Quitter,” “Top Shelf,” and “From the Inbetween.” Songs like “I Walk the Line” and “Boots On,” which featured the famous Shelton, were big hits.

Sawyer Fredericks in Season 8 (2015)

“The Golden Tree,” Fredericks’s newest EP, came out in February 2023. Live shows of this unique artist can be seen in places like Connecticut and New York. After winning a contest when he was only 16, Fredericks signed a record deal and released his first EP and album, “A Good Storm.” Two more albums, “Flowers for You” and “Hide Your Ghost,” followed, with “Hide Your Ghost” reaching number 23 on Billboard’s U.S. Indie Chart.

His album “Silent World” was featured in the first episode of Netflix’s “Longmire.” In the fall of 2021, he co-headlined a U.S. tour with The Accidentals, which further solidified his place in the music world.

Jordan Smith in Season 9 (2015)

Smith’s holiday hit “Joy to the World” will be played on the “This Is Jesus Christmas Tour” in 2023, along with Tauren Wells and Katy Nichole.

Smith became the most popular contestant on The Voice and won with Team Adam’s help. She will go down in history as the most popular contestant ever. His meteoric rise was primarily due to his performance of “Mary, Did You Know?” After that, he released three albums, including “Something Beautiful,” “‘Tis the Season,” and “Only Love.” Interestingly, he represented Kentucky in the American Song Contest in 2022 and won third place with the captivating song “Sparrow.”

Alisan Porter in Season 10 (2016)

Porter is happily married to her longtime partner, Justin de Vera. She also expanded her musical repertoire by working with Blues Traveler on the song “Tired of Being Alone.” In December 2023, she released the beautiful “Meant for Me” for her fans.

Porter, a Team Christina protégé, started her journey after The Voice with the EP “I Come in Pieces” in 2017. Before The Voice, she was praised for her work as an actress and a singer. “Pink Cloud,” her third studio record, emerged in 2019 and solidified her musical legacy.

Sundance Head in Season 11 (2016)

Chevel Shepherd in Season 15 (2018)

Todd Tilghman in 18th season (2020)
